💜 FROM PRINCE TO THE CRATES…

Love Song Cafe 450 S Main St in Downtown Los Angeles. Venue for “Celebrating The Life of Prince”, hosted by Jerome Benton.

On April 21, 2026, Wyldflow3r stepped into a room filled with love, legacy, and real stories — a celebration of the life of Prince Rogers Nelson at Love Song Café in Los Angeles.

Hosted by Jerome Benton, the energy was undeniable. People who lived the era showed up and poured into the moment — including Mark Webster, who spoke on preserving Prince’s legacy.

DJ Chrome Queen

The music for the day was provided by DJ Chrome Queen — Jerome’s daughter — which made the experience feel even more personal. This wasn’t just a tribute… it was family keeping the legacy alive in real time.

And yes… in the middle of a group photo, Mark Webster told me to get my “big ass Afro out the way” 😂🌹I’ve never felt so honored!

A whole star-studded afterparty happened later that night… and I missed it (still not over it).

But I walked away with something just as valuable — real connections, real stories. And I was still able to get some footage from that event, I’m about to share.

👉🏾 I’ve got video from the event — watch it here + get the full story:

🎶THIS WEEK ON WYLDFLOW3R

This week, Wyldflow3r tapped into the emotional layers of the culture — from the smooth send-off of Maze’s “Before I Let Go” (the happiest breakup song ever made) to a respectfully petty take on Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” (the people love it… Wyldflow3r does not 😂). We also revisited the Jet Countdown from April 20, 1992 — a lineup that gave grown, soulful energy with Vanessa Williams, Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat, Patti LaBelle, and Michael Jackson holding it down.

On the deeper side, we spotlighted rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Esquerita and dug into Rare Grooves with Baby Huey & The Babysitters — a voice and legacy that still echoes through hip-hop. And yes… we owe y’all a deeper dive on The Family (from the week before last 👀). We’ll keep it brief here, but trust — the full story is coming to Wyldflow3r.com.

💿 RARE GROOVES: BABY HUEY & THE BABYSITTERS

Baby Huey & The Babysitters gave us The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend — including “Hard Times,” one of the most sampled songs in hip-hop history.

Founded by Lisa Price, the brand grew from homemade blends into a household name, without losing its connection to nourishment, self-care, and identity.
